Entry terms & conditions:

You must have reached the age of 35 years by the date of the race, 23rd September 2007, and are not suspended from athletic competition by WMRA, WMA or your national athletic federation (IAAF member).

The event complies with the regulations of the World Mountain Running Association (WMRA) and the Austrian Leichtathletik Verband (ÖLV).

Participants will be informed of any special organisational measures before the start of the event. The organiser’s instructions must be followed completely. In the event of non-compliance, before or during the race, the organisers may at all times exclude and / or disqualify any runner who is disturbing the normal course of the event or endangering his own safety or that of other participants.

Personal health insurance is the sole responsibility of the participant.
The Union Berglauf Team Association bears no liability in the event of accident or illness, except that during the races, emergency medical facilities will be made freely available.
Anti-Doping tests:

All competitors are liable to be requested to submit to Anti-doping tests before or after the competition.

Completion of the entry form implies willingness to be subject to testing.
Competitors taking medication which contain banned substances must obtain ‘Therapeutic Use Exemption.

All competitors are advised to familiarise themselves with the WMRA Anti-Doping Regulations which can be seen on web page www.wmra.info or by application to the WMRA Secretary.
Individual Awards:

Individual results are divided into the following age-groups:
M/F 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65 and 70+ with age being that on the day of the race.
Medals (gold, silver, and bronze) will be awarded to the first 3 individuals in each category.

Team Awards:

Gold medals will be awarded to members of the winning team of 3 in categories M/F 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60 only. The team results will be decided as follows:

A team will consist of the first 3 to finish for each country (The UK is divided into England, Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland). Scoring will be according to position and the least score wins. In the event of a tie the team with the last scoring member nearest to first place will be declared the winner. There is no requirement to declare the names of team members.
Time Measurement:

Time measurement for the World Masters Mountain Running Championships will be carried out by using data race bibs (www.bibchip.at).

Each runner will receive a race bib which includes a personal coded data chip.
Race bibs must not be returned. There is no deposit for the race bibs.
Data collection and processing:

All personal data collected at the time of registration will be stored and used for the purpose of the realisation and management of the event. This applies particularly to the handling of data required for payment. With registration, the participant agrees to his/her data being stored for this purpose.

The organizer may distribute and publish all photographs, film shots and interviews on radio, television, film, video cassette and in the print media in connection with participation in the event without being liable to any claim for payment.

Stored personal data will be passed on to event partners for the purpose of time measurement, compilation of ranking lists and preparation of information material. With registration, the participant agrees to his/her data being stored for this purpose only.

The surname, first name, year of birth, club, race bib number and result (ranking, time) of each competitor will be printed and / or published in start and result lists in all the relevant media accompanying the event (printed matter such as programmes and results brochure and on Internet. With his/her registration, the participant agrees to his/her personal data being stored and used for this purpose only.
Start Preparations

Race bib will only be issued on presentation of a valid proof of identity and age.
Problems/queries: contact the Help Desk at the Stadtsaal.
Changing rooms:

Changing rooms for WM-runners at Volksschule Mitte (approx. 300 m from start).
Luggage:

1 item of luggage per entrant will be transported to the finish. Check-in at marked transport vehicles by latest 30 min. before start at Riedmillerplatz. Luggage must carry the entrant’s name and race bib.

Finish

Finish: Muttersberg

Every finisher will receive an official finisher’s T-shirt and a memorial medal.

Showers:

The luggage depot and showers are located at the finishing area.
Results:

All results and ranking lists will be available on Internet from 5 pm on Monday: http://www.berglaufteam.com/wm_e/ergebnisse.html
Ranking lists will also be posted in the evening.

Please note : no printed ranking lists will be sent by mail.
  Please use the Internet.
Return transport:

Return transport to Bludenz is exclusively by the “Muttersbergseilbahn”. Return transport for runners is included in the starting fee (present race bib).
